Wall Street performed first weekly decline since August
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market declined on Friday as well as it posted it first weekly decline since August as investors are focused on Fed's meeting on Wednesday and speculations on when the central bank will start to hike interest rates.
The Dow Jones declined 61.49 pts or 0.36% to finish at 16,987.51; 0.85% down in the week. The Nasdaq eased 24.21 pts or 0.53% to end Friday at 4,567.60; 0.33% negative in the week.
The S&P 500 fell 11.91 pts or 0.60% to close the session at 1,985.54, -1.1% on the weekly basis.
