DJIA turns positive after a flat opening
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US Equity markets opened flat today, contrary to the expectations since the European equities are trading with huge losses.
The DJIA is trading 0.23% higher at 16,700 while the S&P futures have regained their losses to trade 0.06% higher at 1926.15. The rise in the US Equity markets has helped their European counterparts to recover some losses. The Dax has recovered from 8819 to 8856 levels, down 1.65% for the day. On similar lines, the Ftse has recovered to trade 0.82% lower at 6378.00.
Meanwhile, the ten-year treasury yields in the US are trading flat around 2.32 levels and the US Dollar Index is trading 0.30% higher at 85.92 levels.
