NZD/USD tumbles to 0.8047/52
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The NZD/USD recently fell off the 0.8100 handle, crashing nearly 50 pips during European trading Friday.
According to the ICN.com Technical Analyst Team, “The NZD/USD dropped, closing 4-hour candlesticks below 0.8065 and thwarting our intraday forecast for Friday. For those willing to take the risk with the pair in its current levels, we bet on a downtrend running to test 0.7920.”
In these moments, the NZD/USD is entrenched in negative territory at 0.8047/52 Friday. Technically speaking, the Mataf.net analyst team points to support levels at 0.8016, onto 0.7949, and ultimately 0.7895. Alternatively, a thrust into positive territory will eventually drive the pair towards resistances at 0.8137, then 0.8191, onto 0.8258.
