Canada: Employment rises 43.1K in October

FXStreet (Łódź) - Net employment in Canada grew by 43.1K in October, following the 74.1K rise registered the previous month, Statistics Canada reported today. Consensus pointed to a 5K drop.

The unemployment rate slid to 6.5%, from 6.8%, while the participation rate remained unchanged at 66%.
