Wall Street closes at session highs and ends the week with gains
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market has closed higher after surging following the NFP employment report. Investors' confidence was fueled by the +175K figures in NFP and the rise in unemployment to 7.6% in May as they believe the Fed is far from tapering QE.
However, market is confidence on recovery has civilian force increased but long-term unemployed declined.
The Dow Jones climbed 207.50 points or 1.38% to end the week at 15,248.12; 0.88% above Last Friday's close. The S&P 500 advanced 20.82 points or 1.28% to end at 1,643.38; 0.78% up in the week. The Nasdaq added 45.17 points or 1.32% to 3,469.22. The composite won 0.39% in the last 5 sessions.
