AUD/NZD falls below 200-DMA
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The Aussie fell against the New Zealand Dollar, taking the AUD/NZD pair below the 200-DMA located at 1.0916.
The AUD/NZD pair traded 0.23% lower at 1.0901 levels at the time of writing. The Australian dollar was hurt by the downbeat construction data. Construction work completed fell by 2.2% in the third quarter, more than the expected 1.7% decline. Meanwhile, the New Zealand gained 0.37% against the US Dollar, which further pressurized the AUD/NZD cross.
AUD/NZD Technical Levels
The pair has an immediate resistance of the 200-DMA located at 1.0916 levels, above which the pair faces stiff resistance at 1.0978 levels. Meanwhile, the support is seen at 1.0852 and 1.0838 levels.
