Italian unemployment jumps in October, youth unemployment hits 43.3 percent

FXStreet (London) - Italian unemployment jumped in October hitting a seasonally adjusted 13.2 percent - up from 12.9 percent in September according to Istat. The jump exceeded consensus expectations of a slight decline to 12.6 percent.

The jobless rate for 15-24 year-olds rose to 43.3 percent in October, up from 42.7 percent in September.
