US Private sector employment increased by 208K In November - ADP report

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US ADP National Employment report released today showed private sector employment rose by 208K, compared to the expected print of 222K and down from the October’s print of 230K.

Job additions in small businesses (49 or fewer employees) rose by 101K in November, down slightly from 103K in October. The pace of job creation in medium-sized firms (50-499 employees) slowed significantly to 65L in November, down from 122K in October. Meanwhile, job additions at Large businesses (500-499) stood at 10,000 jobs, down from October’s 14,000. However. The drop was off-set by addition of 32,000 jobs by companies with over 1,000 employees.

As per Carlos Rodriguez, president and chief executive officer of ADP, "November continued to show solid job growth above 200,000, “Small businesses continued to drive job gains adding almost half the total for the month.”
