LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The daily inventory data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a rise in the inventory levels of Nickel and Zinc. Meanwhile, the inventory levels of Lead, Aluminium and Copper declined.

Aluminium inventory decreased by 8650 tonnes today, while Nickel inventory increased by another 378 tonnes. Copper inventory declined by 550 tonnes and Zinc inventory increased by 4075 tonnes. Meanwhile, Lead fell by 2300 tonnes.

Kit Juckes, Global Head of Currency Research at Societe Generale, forecasts the NFP to be at 275k, well above the 230k consensus, suggesting that the market should watch out for upside US NFP surprises.
