LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The daily warehouse stocks data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a rise in the inventory levels of Lead and Aluminium, while the inventory levels of Nickel, Zinc, Copper declined.

Copper stocks declined by 1300 tonnes today, while Aluminium inventory rose by 9875 tonnes and Zinc inventory decreased by 3575 tonnes. Nickel stocks declined by 132 tonnes, while that of Lead increased by 975 tonnes.

UK Retail Sales rise for 20th consecutive month

The retail industry data released by the UK Office for National Statistics today showed an year-on-year rise of 6.4% in November. This is the highest year-on-year rise since May 2004, when retail sales grew by 6.9%.
