USD/CAD hits fresh 20-month high
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The USD/CAD extended gains to a fresh 20-month high at the beginning of the American session in a fresh spike of risk aversion as US traders join the market.
USD/CAD extends gains
Amid broad USD strength, USD/CAD jumped and peaked at 1.0553 before pulling back slightly and it was last up 0.4% at the 1.0520 zone. On the upside, the pair could face immediate resistances at 1.0575 (Oct 5 2011 high) and 1.0600 (psychological level), while supports are seen at 1.0465 (daily low) and 1.0400 (psychological level).
