AUD/USD rises to test 0.8200
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The Australian dollar picked up momentum and rose across the board during the New York session, reaching the 0.8200 area versus the greenback.
AUD/USD broke above the 0.8155 static resistance area that concurs with the 21-day SMA and accelerated gains to a fresh 9-day high. However, AUD/USD has lacked determination to break above the 0.8200 psychological level and pulled back after a brief visit.
At time of writing, the Aussie is trading at 0.8190, up 0.85% , and on track to post its second daily gain in a row as it recovers from a fresh cycle low of 0.8032 scored on Wednesday.
