UK: Annual Total Business Investment plunges 16.5% in Q1

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Data published on Thursday by National Statistics shows that the UK annual Total Business Investment fell 16.5% in Q1, following a 0.7% increase registered the previous quarter.

Quarter-over-quarter UK Total Business Investment slid 1.9% in Q1, down from the 0.4% decrease in Q4 and below expectations of -0.4%.

UK: GDP grows 0.3% in Q1, as expected

On a quarterly basis UK GDP increased 0.3% in Q1 2013, after rising 0.3% in Q4 2012, according to data released today by National Statistics. This result is in line with market consensus.
