Copper extends gains for 2nd straight session

Copper futures on Comex extended gains from the previous session as investors took advantage of the recent slide to five and a half year lows.

USD/CAD climbed back to the upper 1.19's on Friday, after Thursday turbulence sent the pair to the 1.1800 zone as the loonie tracked oil recovery.
