AUD/JPY hovering around 97.00, at 1-week highs
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/JPY pair dropped yesterday but regained strength on Tuesday and rose above Friday’s closing price. It continues to hold a bullish tone in the short term, recovering from 94.25 (Jan 14 low).
The pair broke above 97.00 for the first time in a week and climbed to 97.37. But then during the American session, the aussie weakened and AUD/JPY pulled back, unable to benefit from the rise of the USD/JPY.
The decline from the highs found support at 96.65 and it climbed back above 97.00. Currently is trading at 97.05, headed toward the strongest close since January 9.
