AUD/USD might see a bounce around 0.7750 – Varengold

FXStreet (Barcelona) - The Varengold Bank Research Team expects that breaking below the support at 0.7750 might be difficult for AUD/USD and the pair might see a bounce as it approaches the support line.

Key Quotes

“Since the highs reached in July 2011, when the bearish took the control, the Aussie dollar has lost around 30% against the US dollar and this downtrend has been especially sharp in the last 4 months.”

“At the moment, the pair is approaching to the support level of 0.7750 which is very close to the main long term trend-line. This line should not be crossed easily, so a technical bounce at that level might be possible. However, if it is finally crossed, we should be ready for further declines. Above the current level, the 0.8650 level is the first resistance identified.”
