Japanese inflation: Mostly unchanged but overall Tokyo improves

FXStreet (Bali) - Japanese inflation data came mostly unchanged, with the national reading for December only seeing a slight correction lower on CPI Ex-Fresh Food (YoY) from 2.7% in Nov to 2.5% in Dec, while the Tokyo data (month of January) saw an increase in the overall CPI, but small decreases in CPI Ex-Fresh Food/Energy.
