Fonterra lowers forecasts on NZ milk supply

FXStreet (Bali) - Fonterra has released a note in early morning New Zealand time lowering its forecasts on NZ milk supply this year, now expecting it to be reduced by 3.3% for the 2014/15 seasons.

Fonterra also said that milk collection was 3% lower in January 2015 and 3% higher for the season to date. Fonterra also notes that "China imports were down 33% in December compared to a year earlier."

GBP/USD remains capped by 1.5275

The pound managed to recover from below 1.5200 against the dollar but the upside was capped by the 1.5275 zone, confining GBP/USD to a phase of consolidation over the last hours.
