Eurozone finance ministers approve payment for Greece

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Eurozone finance ministers approved a staggered schedule of aid payments for Greece, starting with €2.5 billion in July, according to Reuters, allowing Greece to avoid an immediate funding crisis.

According to sources cited by Reuters, the eurozone second installment will be €0.5 billion in October. Meanwhile, the IMF will pay Greece €1.8 billion in August as part of the agreement.
