UK key data eyed - TDS
FXStreet (Guatemala) - Analysts at TD Securities noted the up and coming Retail Sales data for Friday 20 February.
Key Quotes:
"After three months of substantial upside surprises, we expect UK retail sales to come back down to earth in January, and look for a -1.0% decline and sizeable downside miss."
"Non-food stores gave back part of their big Oct-Nov surge with the Dec data, but may still have further to go, and food stores probably have downside potential as well after 4 straight months of healthy gains."
"The trend in consumer spending should remain strong overall, but just looks to be a bit overcooked now."
