Wall Street closed higher on mix ecodata and earnings reports
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market open the week with a modestly positive note as the major indexes advanced in a lackluster session. Investors were trading cautions on the back of mixed economic data and good earnings reports in the financial sector. The Dow logged its 7th positive day in the last 8.
The Dow Jones advanced 19.96 points or 0.13% to finish the day at 15,484.26. The S&P 500 added 2.31 pts or 0.14% to 1,682.50. And the Nasdaq Composite rose 7.41 pts or 0.21% to close the session at 3,607.49.
