AUD/USD: Drops 50 pips; Chinese Manufacturing PMI's

FXStreet (Guatemala) - AUD/USD is currently trading at 0.7851 with a high of 0.7904 and a low of 0.7835.

AUD/USD has dropped on the HSBC Manufacturing numbers that were a big miss from expectations and alarmingly fell short of the 50 number arriving at 49.2 vs 50.5 expected. so far, the reaction has not be drastic relative to recent volatility and swings, with dropping to 0.7835 from 0.7882

The pair is back to the 55-day moving average magnet at 0.7863 while below here we still have the February high at 0.7912in tact as next target below the Asian lows on that release. The downside is to play while below the early January low at 0.8034, and the downside pressures remain with March lows in sight and also the Jan yearly lows of 0.7625.

China HSBC PMI at 11-month low in March

China HSBC Manufacturing PMI registered at 49.2 in March, way below expectations of 50.5, representing an 11-month low.
