USD/CHF hovering above 0.9500

FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF is trading slightly above 0.9500, below Friday’s closing price but still on top of last week lows. The Swiss franc is the worst performer among European currencies on Monday, while the US dollar is falling across the board.

USD/CHF testing 0.9500

The pair opened the week trading at 0.9505 but then rose and peaked during the Asian session at 0.9535, the highest level since the release of the NFP report.

Since the European session the pair is moving with a bearish bias but the area around 0.9500 capped the decline. Currently it trades at 0.9510/15, around Friday’s closing price. Last week, the USD/CHF pair posted the the third weekly decline in a row, extending the retreat after reaching 1.0128 on March 12.

Further pressure ahead for Oil – BBH

The Brown Brothers Harriman Research Team, comments on the key factors which might weigh on oil prices, and further mention that global price pressure will intensity in the year ahead even if oil prices do not increase from present levels.
