USD/JPY extend gains above 120.00, hits 2-week highs
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/JPY rose further during the American session and reached at 120.44, the strongest level since March 20. The pair remain near session highs consolidating gains, as stocks in Wall Street hold in positive territory. The Dow Jones is up 0.48% and the Nasdaq gains 0.52%.
Greenback is rising for the second day in a row versus the yen, accumulating a gain of 160 pips; in two days it has been able to erase last week losses. If it ends around current levels it would post the highest close since March 19.
The japanese currency is among the worst performers during the American session while the US dollar is the opposite and with the aussie, are the strongests in the forex on Tuesday.
