EUR/AUD regains the area above 1.4400
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The EUR/AUD foreign exchange cross rate is last trading at 1.4418 off recent session and weekly highs at 1.4429, printed on the back of Aussie weakness, making the cross gain a +0.52% so far for the week.
EUR/AUD gives the bulls some momentum
“EUR/AUD has again closed above 1.4400 which will give the bulls some momentum,” says FXWW founder Sean Lee. According to IFR Markets analyst Andrew Spencer “Momentum studies are negative.” The cross is up +11.91% year to date, while +13.96% in last 3 months.
EUR/AUD key technical levels
Immediate resistance to the upside for EUR/AUD shows at recent session/weekly highs at 1.4429, followed by Thursday's highs at 1.4456, and July 12 fresh 3-year highs at 1.4480. To the downside, closest support lies at July 03 highs 1.4401, followed by Friday's highs at 1.4379, and yesterday's weekly lows at 1.4310.
