USD/CHF falls to 1-week lows below 0.9650

FXStreet (Córdoba) - After a short lived recovery, USD/CHF resume the decline and dropped sharply during the last hour falling from 0.9710 to 0.9635, hitting the lowest level since April 8.

Economic data from the US weakened the dollar, that is falling sharply across the board. Now USD/CHF is falling for the third day in a row retreating after hitting on Monday at 0.9862, the strongest level in a month.

Price is back below the daily 20-SMA and trading at the same level it had a week ago. If it drops further the key short term support levels lie at 0.9600/05, 0.9540 and 0.9470/75 (Mar, Apr lows).

Beige Book: US economy continued to expand despite headwinds

US economy continued to expand across most regions from mid-February through the end of March, according to the Beige Book, although headwinds from the stronger dollar, low oil prices and harsh winter weather were noted.
