LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of base metals viz. Copper, Zinc, Lead and Aluminium. While Nickel inventories witnessed a built-up.

Copper stocks decreased by 200 tonnes. While Lead and Zinc stocks deducted 4325 tonnes and 3125 tonnes respectively. Aluminium inventories subtracted massive 6025 tonnes. On the other hand, stock levels of nickel increased by 1086 tonnes.

EUR/USD retraces to 1.12 ahead of EMU data

The shared currency soared nearly 180 pips versus its US counterpart in the European morning, sending EUR/USD to fresh two month highs, mainly driven by sky-rocketing German bund yields while USD sell-off also supports.
