No deal likely on Monday - EU’s Dijsselbloem

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The European Union (EU) head Dijsselbloem said on Thursday that there is unlikely to be a deal with Greece on Monday, while stating that Greece may face their own deadlines if they have liquidity problems.

"Politically speaking, the only deadline is the end of June when the second (rescue) plan ends, but there could also be a deadline if liquidity problems become too important for Athens," he said.

Meanwhile EU’s Juncker was quoted by Reuters saying that "I were to say that a Greek exit was an option, what do you think would happen on financial markets?"
