AUD/USD recovers from lows, back around 0.7700

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The Australian dollar managed to recover slightly from daily lows and has spent the last hours trading on both sides of the 0.7700 mark.

AUD/USD is on track to close the week with gains in a week loaded with volatility amid Australian jobs data, Chinese inflation figures and a surprise rate cut by the neighbour RBNZ.

AUD/USD reached the 0.7790 area on Thursday underpinned by stellar employment figures, but failed to sustain gains and slid to 0.7677 during the last session. Having recovered a few pips, AUD/USD is currently trading at the 0.7710 zone, still 0.54% below its opening price, but on track to post its first weekly gain in four.
