USD/CAD rises to fresh 2-day high
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The USD/CAD extended gains to new highs during the American session despite improvement in risk sentiment as the greenback remains strong amid month-end buying.
USD/CAD reached a fresh 2-day high of 1.0528 in recent dealings and continues to threaten highs at time of writing, where it records a 0.4% gain on the day as crude-oil futures continue to hover around $108/bbl.
USD/CAD technical levels
If USD/CAD breaks above 1.0528, next resistances line up at 1.0540 (Aug 27 high) and 1.0570 (Aug 23 high), while on the other hand, supports are seen at 1.0480 (daily low) and 1.0450 (10-day SMA).
