France’s parliament approves Greek bailout deal
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The French national assembly approved Wednesday the deal to grant Greece a third bailout programme in exchange for austerity measures.
The result of the vote was 412 for, 69 against and 49 abstentions. Some leftist lawmakers had said they would not support the deal because it is too austere.
French Parliament has been the first one to approve the bailout deal, even before the Greek parliament, which will vote later on Wednesday.
