EUR/USD pops higher and this 2-week highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The euro strengthened in the market during the last hours, around the London close and pushed EUR/USD back above 1.1300. The pair broke above previous highs and reached at 1.1344, the highest level since August 27.

EUR/USD: Will it consolidate above 1.1300?

Price is back again on top of 1.1300, the area that limited the upside last week and yesterday. A consolidation above could open the doors for more gains ahead of Wednesday, when the Federal Reserve will announce its decision on rates.

It remains near the highs, holding a bullish tone. Currently trades at 1.1330/35, up 0.50% for day. During the last hour rose 65 pips making the biggest hourly move of the last 24 hours.
