Australia House prices beat expectations in Q2
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Residential property prices in Australia were up 4.7% on quarter in Q2 2015, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Tuesday.
That topped expectations for an increase of 2.5% following the 1.6% gain in the first quarter.
On a yearly basis, house prices spiked 9.8% - also beating forecasts for an increase of 8% and up from 6.9% in Q1 2015.
