EMU: Current Account surplus widens to €17.4B in August

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Current Account surplus s.a. widened to €17.4 billion in August from €15.5 billion in July, according to data released today by the ECB. Analysts expected the surplus to widen slightly more to €17.7 billion.

Current Account surplus n.s.a. narrowed to €12 billion in August, from €26.1 billion in July and above forecasts of narrowing to €10 billion.
