ECB to avoid media interaction during the ‘quiet period’

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The ECB President in a letter replying to MEP said the ECB will avoid interactions with the media/investors during the “quiet period” – 7 days prior to monetary policy meeting.

The letter says, “exec board will refrain from meeting or talking to the media, market participants or other outside interests on monetary policy matters during the "quiet period".
