US: Durable Good Orders rose 3.7% in September

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -The Commerce Department has informed that orders for US long-lasting goods have increased 3.7% on a monthly basis during September, surpassing expectations at 2.0%, and up from August’s 0.2% gain (revised from 0.1%). If we strip the Transportation sector, orders contracted 0.1%, missing the median at 0.5% and matching August’s print.
