AUD/USD falls below 0.9500, hits 2-week lows
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/USD extended losses and broke below the 0.9500 mark to hit a fresh 2-week low ahead of the New York opening.
AUD/USD weighed by RBA Stevens
The Aussie came under pressure Tuesday after RBA Governor Stevens warned once again that the currency is overvalued and extended its correction from a 4-month high scored last week at 0.9757. The AUD/USD has lost over 80 pips throughout the day and recently printed a 2-week low at 0.9486.
AUD/USD short-term levels
At time of writing, AUD/USD is trading at the 0.9490 zone, 0.9% below its opening price with next supports lining up at 0.9476 (Oct 15 low) and 0.9423 (Oct 14 low). On the other hand, resistances could be found at 0.9574 (daily high) and 0.9610 (10-day SMA).
