EUR/USD rallies back above 1.3800

The EUR/USD reversed earlier losses and rallied to fresh daily highs during the New York session after ECB official Nowotny said there isn't any tool the ECB could use against the strong euro.

USD/JPY blows up the 98.00 resistance

After an initial rejection at 98.00 and a retracement to 98.85 following ECB's Nowotny comments, the USD/JPY has jumped to volatilize the 98.00 resistance and to extend highs around 98.15.
