Stocks little changed on FOMC week

US stocks were hardly changed at Wall Street's close, with a mixed outcome amid a slide in oil prices again, closing at $37.18, down $1.32, or 3.4 pct on the session.

It was a consolidation day in stocks, while Iran is talking about not joining the coalition to freeze production with the week ahead that is is a big one with BoJ, National Party Congress and head of Chinese government that might be making a statement along with the FOMC on the horizon.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 17229.13, up 15.82 or 0.09% while the S&P 500 Index was at 2019.64, -2.55 or -0.13% and the Nasdaq Composite Index was at 4750.28, up 1.81 or 0.04%.
