Japan: Household spending upbeat in February

Overall household spending data in Japan shows the y/y for February coming at +1.2% vs -1.9% expected and -3.1% last, an upbeat reading in Japan's efforts to stimulate inflation in the country.

With regards to Japan's jobless rate for February, it stood at +3.3% vs +3.2% expected and +3.2% last, while job-to-applicant ratio for February came at 1.28 vs 1.29 expected and 1.28 last.
