“In the euro area we receive the European Commission’s economic sentiment survey for March on Wednesday, together with the flash German CPI for March.
Preliminary CPI reports for March will be released in France and Spain on Thursday, together with the first estimate for the euro area as a whole (Bloomberg’s survey indicates that the market expects core CPI inflation to edge up 0.1pp to 0.9% yoy).
Also on Thursday we receive February retail spending reports in Germany, France and Spain. On Friday we receive the final March manufacturing PMI readings for the euro area, Germany and France and the first estimates for the likes of Italy and Spain.
The UK’s diary is highlighted by consumer confidence, money and credit and GDP reports on Thursday and the Markit manufacturing PMI on Friday.”
