Japan’s FinMin Aso: Won't comment on possible response to yen gains

Japanese finance minister Taro Aso was on the wires earlier today, responding to the reporters on the yen outlook.

When asked about the possibility of future yen gains and the possible response, Mr. Aso refused to comments on the future yen moves, avoiding talking about of hypothetical situations.

Meanwhile, USD/JPY takes a breather after a sudden spike to 107.82 levels, now trading around 107.70, still up +0.14% on the day,  while the Nikkei 225 advances +0.36% to 16,640 points.
