Flash: EUR/USD to record smallest annual high-low % ever - Societe Generale

FXstreet.com (Bali) - Societe Generale, in a note to its clients, notes an interesting development in the EUR/USD market this year - - quite telling of the depressed volatility seen - , barring any major surprises before year-end.

As Societe Generale FX Team notes: "EUR/USD is on track this year to record the smallest high-low percentage ever. The intraday high of 1.3832 (October 25) against the intraday low of 1.2746 (April 4) gives the first sub-10% differential in the euro's history."

China may set 2014 GDP target at 7% - China EI daily

The latest economic projections for China, reported by the China Economic Information Daily - Chinese business journal - notes that the country may establish a lower GDP target of 7% for 2014. Traders should perceive this latest bit of news as AUD negative as the accepted GDP growth is still around 7.5%, so any figures talking down that number may only exacerbate the AUD negative momentum.
