Key Quotes:

"YouGov conducted a “pseudo-exit” poll today which showed that the Remain was favored by 52% vs. Leave at 48%. The market was anxiously awaiting this poll given that it correctly captured the outcome of the Scottish referendum. Note however, that we would still remain cautious, as it failed to capture the outcome of the UK General Election. Nonetheless, reports have surfaced that UKIP leader Nigel Farage has noted that it looks like the Remain camp will "edge it" based on a private Leave campaign poll of 10k people.

The Electoral Commission counts the total number of valid ballots cast before it counts the actual results, and so we should see an announcement from them at some point earlier on in the night. Turnout of greater than 70% should favour Remain, while turnout below 65% will strongly favour Leave. Heavy rains overnight and this morning across much of England have led to problems at polling stations, and it will be interesting to see if this plays a role in turnout."

Actual voting results are expected to be announced at 12am-12:45am BST (7pm-7:45pm ET)."
