AUD/USD firmer, hovering over 0.7500
The Aussie dollar is trading on a firmer fashion today, pushing AUD/USD to fresh highs in the 0.7500 neighbourhood.
AUD/USD supported near 0.7450
The pair’s weekly decline seems to have found some decent support in the mid-0.7400s for the time being, although it has managed to gain some pips backed by the renewed selling pressure around the greenback.
Nothing worth mentioning data wise in Oz, whereas Initial Claims, the Philly Fed Manufacturing index and Existing Home Sales are all due later in the US calendar.
AUD/USD levels to watch
At the moment the pair is advancing 0.36% at 0.7500 and a break above 0.7658 (high Jul.12) would aim for 0.7672 (23.6% Fibo of the Apr-May down move) and finally 0.7836 (2016 high Apr.21). On the other hand, the next support aligns at 0.7454 (low Jul.21) seconded by 0.7404 (low Jul.6) and 0.7320 (200-day sma).
