Flash: USD stabilises on US Budget agreement - BTMU

Lee Hardman, FX Analyst at the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ notes that the US dollar has stabilized in the Asian trading session after the dollar index had fallen back towards support from 200-week moving average at 79.96.

GBP/JPY unwinding into 167.60

Equity markets were down in Asia, boosting the JPY again. GBP/JPY has lost space on the 169 handle, falling from 170.00 territory and is currently struggling to maintain the 168 handle.
