AUD/USD climbs to fresh 3-month highs

AUD/USD gathered fresh momentum and broke above July’s highs to reach its highest level in over 3 months amid broad USD weakness.

AUD/USD rose to a peak of 0.7686 before finding resistance and retreating a tad to currently trade at 0.7673, still up 0.31% on the day.

AUD/USD levels to consider

In terms of technical levels, next resistances could be found at 0.7700 (psychological level), 0.7719 (May 3 high) and 0.7765 (Jul 26 & 27 highs). On the other hand, supports are seen at 0.7596/89 (Aug 8 low/10-day SMA), 0.7567 (Aug 3 low) and 0.7558 (20-day SMA).
