US Dollar jumps to session highs near 96.30
The greenback, measured by the US Dollar Index, is advancing further today, currently flirting with daily highs near 96.30.
US Dollar attention to ISM
The rally in USD remains well and sound so far today, advancing for the third session in a row and clinching 3-week tops in the vicinity of 96.30.
Poor results from manufacturing PMIs in the euro area have given extra wings to the buck early in the European session today, prompting the index to reinforce the recent breakout of the 96.00 barrier.
Ahead in the day, USD will take centre stage in light of the release of August’s ISM Manufacturing and Markit’s PMI, as well as the speech by Cleveland Fed Loretta Mester.
