Our task is maintain price stability – Riksbank’s M.Floden

Martin Floden, Deputy Governor of the Riksbank, said on Wednesday in Goteborg that the Nordic central bank remains committed to maintain price stability by ‘safeguarding the credibility of the inflation target’.

Floden also added that the current purchases of bonds have increased the risks on the central bank’s balance sheet, although the financial position of the Riksbank remains healthy.
