Anti-Trump protests breakout across America

Angry Americans have taken to the streets in New York, Chicago and California in protests against Republican president-elect Donald Trump.

In Chicago, roughly 1000 people attempted to gather outside the Trump International Hotel and Tower downtown while chanting phrases like "No Trump! No KKK! No racist USA."

Meanwhile, protestors also gathered in Union Square, New York, on Wednesday night (local time) chanting "Not my president" and "Black lives matter".
